Kazunoko( hering roe) was a new year food once. Now it's eaten as a Kazunoko sushi all round the year. Sujiko (salmon roe) was once a food of winter season.
But it's a popular all season sushi menu.

People living in the beach side town are all early bird. Early in the morning they take a walk and return to their beach home to have a breakfast. An then people out of the town run to beach with their family with the big lunch box.
