I found a sandpiper first at the canal with my regret of having only the Dimage TX-5 which has the 105mm lens as the most telephoto one. And this the second time when I take the picture of it with the 300mm lens of Ricoh CX-2. It make me remind the sandpipers of the beaches of the Los Angels.

I name this “sparrow spot”. I find two sparrows moving under the dead grasses beside the railroad. After they leave, I walk up the place to find this one like a small mystery circle. They look for a small insects or worms which hide under the dead weeds. They pick up out the stems of weeds with turning themselves around to shape a small round.
