写真の中では一つ以上咲いています。
近所のあちこちにいる梅たちも、静かにさりげなく、ほこほこっと咲き始めています。桜と違って静か(？)なので、だいぶ咲かないと気づけなかったりします。スミマセン。
その季節にはその花が咲く。に今年も会えてウレシイですね。
In the photograph, there are flowers more than just one.
In my neighborhood, there are many Japanese plum trees, they have quietly started blooming. They are so quiet(they seem not to advertise “we are blooming” like Sakura(Japanese cherry blossom)), so sometimes it’s difficult for me to notice their blooming.
We can meet flower when season comes. I am pleased to see them as usual.

数日前の出来事でした。例によって歩いていると、壁にバッタが。えバッタ？？ この時期に？ ここにも温暖化の影響が…？ っとちょっとギョっとしたんですが、このバッタがツチイナゴだったら、大丈夫なようです。成虫の姿で越冬するとかなんとか。なるほど。知りませんでした。
しかしこれまで冬に一度も出会ったことはないのに、何故今会えたんでしょう？ それにはやっぱり、1月があまり寒くなかった、とかも関係しているんでしょうか…。(寒いとジッとしているけど、寒くないから活動しているとか？)
It happened a few days ago. When I went for a walk, I found a locust on the wall. I was very surprised! Why did I see that locust in winter? It’s winter now!! It’s because of global warming?? I checked it out on the internet, if it were locust, Patanga japonica, it would be OK. Because Patanga japonica winters in the form of adult. I didn’t know that.
But I am wondering... I’ve never met them before in my life. Why this year? We’ve got warm January, that's why? (When it’s cold, they stay in quiet, but it isn’t now, so they move around?)

ダイソーで買いました。去年の確か夏が…ずっと続いて暑かった頃に。いつまでも暑いので(？)写真に撮れずに温存していました。
フクロウでもお耳のあるタイプですね。見てすぐにシマフクロウをすぐに思い浮かべました。シマフクロウがこの先もずっと住める、北海道であって欲しいですな。
因みに、「切り株」と「もみの木」は他のセットから持ってきました。
I bought this package some day in last summer. It had continued hot days until November? So I am not sure until when we should have called “summer”. Anyway, I have just kept it until yesterday, finally I got their photographs. it’s lovely erasers made by IWAKO Company. They say, it’s Owl, we also have horned owl. They look like Blakiston's fish owl who lives in Hokkaido, its the north part of Japan. They reminded me of the owl when I met the three ones. The owl has been in a difficult situation living in the areas because we’ve destroyed the natures around there... Hope we will soon stop being stupid then be wise!

ところで、恵方巻も食べました。写真のおむすび(イワコー消しゴムです)は恵方巻の代わりです。恵方巻、と言いますか、海苔巻きの消しゴムも出して貰えたら嬉しいですね！
It’s a true story. I saw some doves came around near my house, they would have eaten beans that I scattered them onto the ground try to take out something wrong(bad luck) from the house. It’s one of the traditional customs in Japan.
Anyway, I ate some special big rice rolls(Eho-maki) tonight. There are three of Omusubi(Onigiri=rice ball) in the photo. I put them instead of Eho-maki. It’s from IWAKO’s erasers made by IWAKO Company. I wish they could produce Norimaki(Eho-maki) for us in the near future!
