A pitch has been on it
With summer illusions
両国駅での出来事でした。ホームに立って電車の来るのを待っていると、向かい側にあるホームの、右端の方が普段と違って何やら明るい。何の灯りが？ と思って目を凝らして見てみると、ぼんやりと燈った提灯が一列に連なってぶら下がっていて、その下にはテーブルと椅子が並んでいる。あちらにこちらにと座っている人々の様子から、どうやらこれは屋台らしい、ということに気が付いた。恐らく夏の間だけの、仮設の営業…？ 滅多にないであろう光景が、これは都会では珍しいまぼろしだよ、と言っているように聴こえました。
It was Ryogoku station in Tokyo. When I was waiting for a train, I noticed that some lightings on the right, there were many Cho-chin lights (Japanese lantern) hanging from the roof of a platform at the other side of mine. There were
a lots tables and chairs under them. I saw many groups of people who were having drinks. It must've been a pitch, it's temporary, only during summer. It's unusual. That told me it's illusion that it wouldn't happen in a big city.
