Thank you, our sister city friends in New Paltz, indeed for your generous relief donations to Niimi City regarding the extremely heavy rain and following floods in July.
Along with President Masaharu Yonezawa of Niimi International Exchange Association and Atsue Ishibashi, Sub-leader of America Group of the association, I handed the donation to the Mayor of Niimi City, Hifumi Ikeda today.
The friends in New Paltz welcomed us when my family and I visited New Paltz on August 16, and handed the donation to me then.
