ひょっこりひょうたん島(The Hyoccori gourd island)

昨日出張で、瀬戸大橋を通り抜ける際、

普段から余り気にしてなかった、小島が目に留まりました。

その島は形こそ違え、子供の頃観た

「ひょっこりひょうたん島」を連想させました。

帰宅後、地図で調べると、与島の城の鼻にある小島のようで、

ポツンと浮かんで見え、白い灯台がとても印象的でした。



Yesterday, because it was on a business trip, I passed Seto-ohashi with the car.
Station on the way at the bridge, it always found the small island which didn't worry too much.
When seeing the small island, I remembered " the Hyoccori gourd island " which was seen with the TV program at the time of the child.
When confirming the island with the map after going home, it was to do the islet being which is near Yoshima.
The island drifted on the sea and the white lighthouse was very impressive.

Seto-ohashi is Honshu-Shikoku-renrakukyo which links Honshu ( Okayama Prefecture Kurashiki City ) and Shikoku ( Kagawa Prefecture Sakaide City ) which spans an Inland Sea of Seto.
Taking the time of 6 months in 9 to the beginning-of-mission on April 10th in 1988 after construction beginning on October 10th in 1978
It is composed of the 13.1 km full length by 9,368 m of 6 bridge parts which span 5 of Shiwakushotou islands and the viaduct which links them.
As for this, as the sharing bridge at the railroad and the road, the world is the longest.
