キンシバイは漢字で書くと「金糸梅」、素敵です。江戸時代に中国からやってきたそうです。ヒペリカムはヨーロッパからとか。簡単な見分け方は、ヒペリカムはキンシバイより花が大きく開くとか、だそうなので、上の写真の花は、ヒペリカムなのかな？？
近所で二株、見ることができます。それぞれは離れたところにあるので、別のヒトがそれぞれで植えたのでしょうか。二つともこんもりと両手を広げたくらいの大きさに育っているので目につくし、ここ数年気になっていたのですがなかなか名前を調べるまでに至っていませんでした。
余談ですが、こんな風に名前の見当がついて今日はスッキリです。少しずつでも、知っている花の名前を増やしていくっていい感じです。
Alectrion glans came to Japan during Edo Period. We call it Hypericum, that came from Euro, we also have Hypericum erectum in Japan as domestic species.
Hypericum's flower opens more wider than Alectrion glans, some website said. So, the flower in the picture must be Hypericum??
There are two Hypericums in my neighbourhood. They are far away each other, different people planted them? They are almost the same size like extending both my arms, easy to find them. I've noticed them a few years ago, but I had no time to check their name out.
It's an aside, I discovered the name today, I felt good. I'd like to remember flowers' names more, it's joyful!
