初めて見たときは、新種の発見か？！ っとドキドキしましたが、そんなことはなくって時々会うことが出来るようです。
ご存知の方も多いとは思いますが、白く見えるのは花びらではなく、総包と言う名の蕾を包むかつては葉っぱだったモノだそうです。本物のお花は、黄色の柱のように立っている部分。
しかし総包が八戸になると、その柱の状態が平たくなってしまっていますね。何故なのでしょう？
下の写真は群れているところ。
八重に出会うとちょっと得した気分になるのですが。四つ葉のクローバー的になんかラッキー！ とか、ないんでしょうか・・・。
About the first picture, there is a double type doku-dami. When I saw it the first time, I was excited if I would have found a new species but it was not, we can see it sometimes.
As you know, their white ones are not petal, it is phyllary, it was leaf but changed into it. Real flower is yellow pole.
When it has double ones, why dose a yellow pole become flat?
About the last picture, there are many doubles. Like four-leaf clover, that dobles would be also lucky??
