あほファンだからか、エナンが気丈にスピーチしている姿、見るにツラいです。。でも、ここでスピーチできて、良かったと思います。今回は、引退の会見もなかったから、、ちゃんと皆に伝えられて、、良かったですよね(涙)。。
I'm a crazy fan, so, it's hard to see her speech with firm attitude in sad... But it was good for her to have opportunity to have a speech, I think. Because she didn't have the press conference for her retirement, but, she could talk about it to everyone.., that was good(tears)...

Fed Cup ceremony Feb 7, 2011.
Only a few months ago I was playing on this court and I really thought things could work well for me but unfortunately the last few weeks have been very difficult and so, rather than a long speech, I think it is simply an enormous thank you I can say to all the people who gave me support for all these years. I have had the opportunity to play around the world and many people were behind me, and so I will never forget this marvelous adventure even if today it is very difficult. I think what I will keep from it are only good things. So, it is a nice symbol to receive this Fed Cut trophy 10 years later because I have exceptional memories.

たった数ヵ月前は、コートでテニスしていて、きっと良い方向へ行くだろうと、本当に思っていました。でも、残念ながら、この2～3週間で、難しい状態になってしまいました。長いスピーチをするよりも、今までサポートしてくれた全ての皆さんに多大なる感謝をしたいと思います。世界中でテニスする機会を持ち、多くの皆さんに支えられました。私は、きっとこの素晴らしい冒険を忘れないでしょう。たとえ、今日、このような状態だとしても。私は、この経験から持ち続けるものは、良い事だけだと思っています。だから、この10年前のFed Cupのトロフィーをもらえるのは、素敵なことです。私には、素晴らしい思い出があるのだから。
