来週は、もうUS Openですね。今年最後のグランドスラムです。テニスシーズンも、後半に入りました。うぅ、、エナンのUSOは、2007年が最後となりました。復帰後は、怪我のため出ることができませんでしたからね(涙)。。

Next week, US Open will be held. It the last GS tournament this year. Tennis season gets into the latter half. Hmm.., Henin's last USO was in 2007. Because after her comeback, she couldn't come there again due to the injury(tears)...

エナンが辞めてから、半年以上が経ったでしょうか。もう随分と経った感じがしますが、今年の初めは、まだテニスをしていたんですよね。。日本では、大震災と原発による混乱のため、一時はテニスどころぢゃなくなりましたが、今になって、遠い記憶のように、、でも、鮮明に思い出されます。。

Since Henin's retirement, more than half a year has passed. I feel it was a long time ago, but she still was playing tennis at the beginning of this year. In Japan, the big earthquake and nuclear accident happened, so, we all confused a lot. I couldn't follow tennis at that time. 伊達さんが、左手の怪我のため、現在調整中のようです。心配ですね。。詳しくはわかりませんが、テニスで怪我したのではないとか。。ご本人は、さぞや悔しい思いをしていると思います。頑張れ、伊達さん。応援しています。

Date-san is taking a rest because of left hand injury now. We worry so much about that... I don't know the detail, but according to some info, the injury was not during playing tennis... Maybe, she would feel frustrated now. Be patient, Date-san. We'll support you.

エナンは、肘の怪我のため、二度目の引退を強いられました。この時、エナンのテニスは、良いレベルへ向かっていただけに、本当に残念な事故でした。全ての選手に、怪我には気をつけて、テニって欲しいです。

Henin had second retirement because of the serious elbow injury. At that time, Henin's tennis began to get high level, so, it was very sad accident. I hope all players play tennis without injury.

私が、TORAYに初めて行ったのは2008年でした。確か、この年、2月から9月に開催が変わりました。そして、伊達さんが予選に出ると言うので、見に行ってわけです。この時は、彼女はスコッスコに負けてましたが、今のランキングは、50位代となりましたね。そう言えば、怪我は大丈夫でしょうか。。

It was 2008 when I went to TORAY for the first time. In that year, the tournament was changed in September from in February. And I went to support Date-san in qualifying round at TORAY. At that time, she lost easily, but now, she gets great rank around 50th. By the way, I worry about her injury...

2009年は、愛さんの引退試合を見に行きました。この時は、全部で4日間ぐらい通いました。エナン復帰のアナウンスを聞いて、嬉しくなっていたのかもしれません。はは(^^;)。。

さて、今年は、本当にキムちゃんが来るのでしょうか？？。USOは、残念ながら、怪我のため欠場するのようですが。。こりゃ無理かな(^^;)。。でも、もし来たら、初来日でしょうか？。愛さんとのキャリアがあるので、日本での知名度はありそうですね。

Well, Kim really comes to Japan this year??. According to the latest news, she will withdraw from USO because of injury... So, it's hard to come to Japan?(^^;)... But if she comes here, it would be first visit to Japan for her?. She has doubles career with Ai, so, she would be well known in Japan.

4年前、2007年USOを観戦するために、ニューヨークへ行きました。その時は、日帰りでナイアガラの滝も見に行きました。今思えば、強行なスケジュールでしたが、今より4歳若かったので、平気でした(笑)。

Four years ago, I went to New York to watch USO in 2007. And I took a day trip to Niagara Falls. Looking back, it was a tough schedule for sightseeing, but I was 4 years younger than now, so, it was OKlaugh).

USOでは、エナンの第2試合を見ました。でも、スケジュールの立て方によっては、エナンの第3試合も見れました。その時は、まさか、このあと1年以内にエナンが辞めてしまうなんて思ってもみなかったので、ナイアガラの滝を見に行こうと決めました。今思えば、エナンを見るべきだったと思います。。ナイアガラの滝は、いつでも見れますものね(^^;)。。

I saw Henin in the second round at USO. But if I made another schedule, I would have been able to see Henin in the third round too. At that time, I didn't think she would retire from tennis in the next year, so, I decided to go to Niagara Falls. But looking back about that now, I should have gone to see Henin... Because Henin retired now, and I would be able to see Niagara Falls anytime in the future(^^;)...

フェデラーが、オリンピックのミックスダブルスで、ヒンギスと組みたいと言っているようです。そうでした。。来年は、もうオリンピックでしたね。

エナンの一度目の引退は、2008年北京オリンピックの直前でした。あれから、もう3年が経っているわけですね。。復帰した時は、2012年ロンドンオリンピックまで現役するって言っていたのに。。ロンドンでは、キムさんとダブルスって話も、ありました。。寂しいですね。。写真は、2004年アテネオリンピック、金メダルのエナンさん。

Henin's first retirement was just before Beijing Olympics in 2008. Then three years has passed already... When she came back to the tour, she said that she would play tennis until London Olympics in 2012... And it was said she might play with Kim in doubles match at Olympics... But now., very sad... This photo is Henin who got the gold medal at Athens Olympics in 2004.

去年のTORAYの写真です。そう言えば、、サフィナは、背中の治療のため、無期限の休養を取りました。今年は、もうTORAYに来ることはないでしょう。あのエナンを倒した時の勢いは、、結局、戻りませんでした。。寂しいです。。

These are the photos of TORAY last year. Looking back.., Safina took indefinite rest because of her back injury. So, she won't come to TORAY this year. I was waiting for her great play like she beat Henin before., but never came back... Very sad...

ピンクくずちゃん、調子はどうでしょうか。ロジャーズカップは、コロッと1回戦で負けておりました。。そろそろ、もうひとキャリア築いて欲しい。。2007年は、あんなに強かったぢゃないか。。ところで、、伊達さんが怪我のため、シンシナティを棄権したようです。。心配ですね。。

Pink-Kuzzie, How about her condition now?. At Rogers Cup, she lost easily in earlier round... I want her to build more career yet... In 2007, she played very well... By the way, Date-san couldn't play because of injury at Cincinnati... I worry about her...

Kuzzie couldn't beat Henin easily before. But in Henin's last match at 2011 AO, I thought it was good that Henin's last opponent was Kuzzie(tears)...
