There is a coffee shop in a block of the Odakyuu Department Store.
They serve me a cup of Shogun coffee.
In the end of 19th century, the last Tokugawa shogun Cake(慶喜）had lots of hobbies after the coup d'Etat of the terrorist gouvernment( their gouverment lead Japan to the continuation of wars to be defeated by America).
One of his famous hobby was photography. And making coffee was the one of his hobby. He made a coffee to serve to his servants and maids and his family members.
One of his grand-children who enjoyed the coffee remembers the taste and finds the recipe. He trys to make the coffee and succeeds it.
So, I can enjoy the taste of the last Tokugawa Shogun's coffee, now.

FUKAGAWA-MESHI(clam-rice) and FUKAGAWA-DON(rice bowl with clams and egg) are local dishes of Tokyo. By the 1960, there have been lived lots of clams in the Tokyo bay. The rapid developement of Japan economy since 1960 has perished the creatures of the Tokyo bay. There rests only a few clams.
But they can serve this provincial menue with clams imported from China and Hokkaido. And I can enjoy the clam bowl or a clam rice.

I say to myself, "What is a Monglian berbecue cartain?"
I get the truth. I made a mistake reading.
"JINGISUKAN-GAADEN( Mongolian bbq garden)" is right.
Could you read this as "KAATEN(curtain)"
