This secondhand bookstore's speciality is books about mountain climbing.
The big proprietor has beautiful beard and smile.
I got an old book, "A bandit in the Mt. Sward (剣の山賊)" published more than half century ago. After the last war, there was a man who stole money from climbers. He was at last arrested by climbing policemen. It is very interesting book. But one day, I lent it to my friend who was in hospital owing to injury.
The patient on the next bed asked him to lent the book. He was pleased much and soon after the old patient died on the bed. When I visited the hospital, my freind hand it back with apology. The book swelled like a ball. The old man on the next bed slept in reading and tumbled a glass. The water drenched the book.

The Lahmen soup of the restaurant "Tabushi" is made of these dry fish,
dry sardin and dry flying fish.
I think these dry fish are a little oxidized.

When I want to save food calorie, I always have a lunch at the restaurant Yuu-yuu(遊遊). They have only a few menu. This is the lunch box.
The taste is so delicious, but two hours later I must fight with my desire for cake.

桃のエクレア eclair de peche

On the last day of the Higashinakano site, I have a peach eclair.
I have a cup of lemon tea.
(At L.A. I was checked about this usage of"lemon tea". American friends insisted they should not say lemon tea. " A cup of tea with milk" is their usage. As for this problem, I prefer the British usage to the American usage.)

水草 plante aquatique

Watching water plants brings me back to the old days when I watched the plants and goldfish in the pond of one of the neighbour's garden. In my home town, all the houses had no wall at the backyard. Children could walk into the neighbour' garden freely.
