Musashi Imperial Graveyard is the mausoleum complex of the Japanese emperors and empresses. It is located in Hachioji-shi, western suburbs of Tokyo.
The mausoleums are in a sacred atmosphere surrounded by the forest.
From the entrance, the wide approach paved with small gravels leads to the mausoleums.

At the end of the approach, there are two open spaces. One is for the mausoleums of the Emperor and Empress Taisho.

The neighboring other space is for the mausoleums of the Emperor and Empress Showa.

Those four mausoleums are the same form called 「上円下方」; the upper part is round and the lower part is square.
It is said that this place is one of the power spots in Hachioji. I wonder if it is true.
Anyway, the place with huge trees will make you feel refreshed.
