Got wet, looked good

「歩道に堂々と落ちている」、と言ったらヘンなのかも知れませんが、そんな印象をうけました。とても良くデザインされていて機能性も確保(内側にボア、みたいな) されてる風なんで、プライド高そうで。だから、(自ら)「落ちた」かも知れないが、「落とされた」のではない、とかでしょうか？
It thought that it has been proudly staying on the footpath. It has a good design, looks warm (there are boa inside), functionality. I guess that it's proud of itself. So, it would have "dropped" by its inclination, never "was dropped"?
