Description:

Welcome to the first exhibition for 2011, a bright happy show featuring the photographs of FCCJ member Kaku Kurita and the artwork of Mumuryk.
This collaboration combines their collective talents to create an imaginative and whimsical look at Japanese society.
With a fun mix between historical and popular culture, Kurita and Mumuryk want to start the new year off with a smile on everyone's faces.

Profile

Kaku Kurita is a well know photojournalist who works with Time, Newsweek, Fortune, Forbes, Paris-Match, Figaro, Le Point, Stern, The New York Times.

Mumuryk is a self-taught artist, with the distinction of having a planet named in her honor.
Her illustrations can be found in numerous magazines, newspapers, and advertisements.
