I think the pronoucements of war a bit exaggerrated. However, what is apparent is that the demographics that jumpstarted China to be a leader in manufacturing low end products and selling these globally have now come to an end. India will take up that mantle, it requires a cheap and young labor force to carry that forward. Parts of emerging Asia will also inherit this. China meanwhile is in a state of transition, its a large country and it will take time to recalibrate its industry and economy. It will (already is) slow down. India meanwhile will (already is) starting to go through a period of rapid and large growth.
This is very healthy for the global economy and for those within it – not just one huge market, but now two, and a developing third, fourth & fifth in the shapes of emerging Asia, Latin America and Africa. Thanks – Chris
