博物館巡り
疲れたぞ

I visited around at the museums
I got tired
最初に行ったのが、デザイン博物館です。シティーセンター中心部にある駅から歩いて約10分ほど。近くて便利ですが、博物館とはこーいうもの、という思い込みがあるのか目の前にあっても気付かず、これまたワンちゃん連れの女性に訊いて教えてもらいました。
常設展はデザインの変遷、てな感じで企画展はとても前衛的な作品が並んでいて、外国の人の発想だなぁと驚きながら観覧。全体的に作品数はそんなに多くないので、じっくり見ても1時間ちょっとで足りるかもです。
I went to design museum first, it located just 10 mins walk from the central station. It was easy but I lost. I asked a woman who taking a lovely dog.
The displays are in the museum, the permanents are the history of design. The exhibition are held, it is very modern. I was surprised their sense of arts. There are not so many, I think 1 hour and a bit are enough to look them.
デザイン博物館の中のトイレです。扉がでかい。中が薄暗いのは節電？ 個室に入ると個別に電気が付けられるよーですが、出てから他の人が入っている様子でそうだと気が付きました。シンク周りのデザインも、さすがスタイリッシュ。
It's the bathroom of design museum. It was dark inside, but each private room has an own lump you can turn it by yourself when you are in. Around sinks are also stylish.
そして裏手にあるフィンランド建築博物館はもっと小さくて、するっと見学。常設展は、建築デザインの変遷、企画展は木造建築に関してでした。ヒトが少なく静かでした。何のキャンペーンなのか、サンタクロースの顔の部分がくり抜かれているボードが設置してあって、写真撮って来ました。(お見せ出来ないのでアップはしません…)
And, there is Architecture museum behind design museum. It is small, the permanents are about the history of architecture design. There is held one exhibition, it is about wooden architecture. It was so quiet. No many people were there. I didn't understand why the Santa Claus board was set in there, which I could put my face in the hole of the face of the Santa. It means I could be the Santa Claus! I took a photo of myself asking to staff who took my picture. ( Sorry, I can't show you the picture. It's too private. )

何かの本で読んだのですが、フィンランドでは公共の施設などにこのよーなコート掛けがあるそーで、実際に見てこれかぁ、と思い、その本を書いてたヒトも心配してましたが、「盗むヒトはいないのか…」ホボホボいないので、こーいうことが成り立っているんでしょーね。
That is the coat hooks at the museum. I've read about it is common in Finland in a book, they leave their coats like this. The book writer was worried if no one steals their coats. I believe that No Finnish people do that.
途中から結構な雨が降って来たので休憩させてもらったアテネウム美術館でも、同じよーなコート掛けを見ました。
I saw the same kind of coat hooks at ATENEUM ART MUSEUM.
最後に、毎週金曜日の16時以降は入場料が無料になるという国立博物館へ。結構展示品の量が多く、18時終了なので二時間じゃ全部を見きれませんでした。残念。しかも閉館10分前に追い出されてしまいました。フィンランドの人は時間に正確だそーです。寒いところはそーしないと命に関わってくる…からでしょーか？？
I went to National museum of Finland at the end of day. It offers us freed-entrance fee after 16:00. There are many displays to look around, it was not enough time to look all. Closing time is 18:00, before that, 10 to five, museum staff told us to go out. Oh my God. I've read a book which told me that Finnish people were punctual. Because here is so cold, they have to be, otherwise they will lose their lives??

There was a garden in front of the museum. I saw many fir trees with light and lovely decorations.
