としたら、やっぱ、可笑しいだろう。
マイナーな事件や一個人の体験談を２，３あげて、奇妙な一般化をする、というのは、英語圏に限らず、よくあるケースだ。
一般的な風潮の具体例として出す場合、非常に具体性が出て有効な場合も多いが、ミスリーディングな場合も多多あることは読者としてわきまえておいた方がいいだろう。
