Miss World is not a big deal in Japan: Few news media cover the contest;therefore, not many people pay attention to it.

Why is it that western media always cover Japan in a negative light just like Muslims are almost always taken up negatively in the western media ?
Why can't they report that lots of people of mixed race are active in various fields in Japan and lots of Japanese people welcome them despite the western prejudice?
