現在、１０週に一度行っているReview Testの最終問題は、ニュース１本を聞いて、要約するかまたは意見を書くという問題を出題していますね。
書く・話す力を身につけていくには、やはりたくさん書く経験を積むことが一番です。
今回、20点満点で採点していますが、その基準を見ていただくことで、
何に気を付けて書けばいいか、ということを意識していただけたらと思います。
２０点満点での採点の基準
・書いた量が少ない、意味がわかりにくい ～６点
・文法・構文などは間違いがあるが、書いてあることはわかる
切れ切れの情報で、読み手に伝えたいことが何かわかりくい ～１０点
・文法・構文などは、おおむね正しく、書いてあることはわかる

・文法・構文などは間違いがあるが、

North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il's thrid son, Kim Jong Un, has made his first public appearance.
It is said that he will be the North Korea's next leader. Kim Jong Il seems to be in a hurry
to hand over the power to his son due to his failing health.
Kim Jong Un who is believed to be the next North Korean leader made his first appearance
before the foreign media. He saw a parade which marked the Korean Workers' Party's 65th anniversary.
He is said to be able to speak French well, as he studied in Switzerland.
But little else is known of him.

The American investor George Soros decided to donate 100-million dollars to Human Rights Watch.
The organization is dealing with international issues on human rights.
It published reports on the inhuman treatment of prisoners in Zambia

Soros said he had decided to increase the amount of the donation to make up
for the decrease of the organization's revenue due to the economic recession in the US.
The 80-year-old American investor George Soros decided to contribute 100 million dollars
to Human Rights Watch over the next 10 years. The organization is based in New York
and recently published reports on inhuman treatment all over the world.
Soros was born in Hungary and experienced the Nazi occupation of his country.
I guess the reason why he chose this organization to make donation is that he knows the pain
of those people suffering from inhuman treatment.

「文法・構文などは、おおむね正しく」
「論旨や流れに一貫性がある」
というのは、いずれも、「したがって、読みやすい」ということです。
コミュニケーションとは、相手にメッセージを伝えることであって、
見栄えのよい文章を書く、ということではありません。
どんなときも、この基本を忘れず、「伝える」「伝えたい」という気持ちをもって書いて（話して）くださいね。
そういう心がけで、技術的なことを磨いていけば、うまく伝わる文章を書ける（話せる）ようになります。
