私が、ブリュッセルで泊ったホテルから撮った写真です。私は、いつも貧乏旅行ですので、この時も、ブリュッセル中心部から、かなり離れた所にある小さなホテルに泊りました。見ての通り、ほとんど住宅街でした。

This is the photo of hotel I stayed in Brussels. I always have a poor trip, so, this time too, I stayed in the small hotel which was far from a downtown of Brussels. You see, it was almost in the residential area.

このように、トラムに乗って、中心部へ行かなければなりません。15分～20分乗りました。この辺には、小さな本屋やお店しかありませんでした。もちろん、滞在するには充分な場所でしたけど。ところで、エナンさんは、ブリュッセルのどの辺りに、ご自宅があるのでしょう。。

And I went to the downtown by the tram like this. It took 15-20 minutes. There were a small bookstore and shop around here. Of course, it was well enough to stay there. By the way, Where is Henin's house in Brussels?...

そうですね、、エナン本を確実に見つけられたのは、「灯台もと暗し？」のブリュッセル国際駅でした。やはり、玄関口であるせいか、外国人向けの本が置いてあったのかもしれません。綺麗な駅でした。

Well., it was the international station of Brussels where I found the book of Henin, "It's always darkest just beneath the lighthouse?". Maybe, the station is the international gateway, so, there might be the books for a foreigner like me. It was a well-appointed station.

これは、買いませんでしたが、エナンの絵本のようです。うぅ、今、思えば買っておけば良かったかしら。。これは、国際駅の本屋にありました。今から、約2年前のお話ですが。。

It seems to be a picture book of Henin, I didn't buy it. Hmm.., Looking back, I should have bought it at that time?... It was at the international station. This is the story two years ago...

エナン引退中、たった1日の滞在でしたので、、エナンが、ベルギーでどれほどの有名人かまでは、体験できませんでした(^^;)。。でも、もしかして、テニ雑誌は、日本の方があるかもしれません？！。。はは、ま、妄想です。とにかく、、エナンが来日したら、日本は大変な萌えになっていたでしょうね～☆

Just one night stay during her retirement.., so, I couldn't know how much famous woman she was in Belgium(^^;)... Hmm., and I guess, Japan might have more tennis magazines than there?!... Ahaha, it's my delusion. Anyway., if Henin comes to Japan, everyone would be busy and become hot to welcome her☆
