For what are there these two posts? My answer is this:
These two posts protect the cactus against violent drivers.
（Today I walked in the railroad of Yamate line from Ikebukuro to Mejiro, and after then we walked back to the Sugamo through Ikebukuro and Otsuka. And the last turn, we walked back to the Ikebukuro. I feel I earned much! So I can manage to upload one picture. ）
