稜線、武蔵小金井駅から la ligne de faîte

I find a new good place to watch the sky line of the Okutama mountains.
Over the antennas tower the dome of lava of the Mt.Ohtake (大岳山）　stands.
The pyramidal shape of the Mt. Mitake (御岳山) is very clear to see.
Fifty years ago and more the fishermen working on the Tokyo bay, they used this piramid peak as a weather forecast data. When they can see it clearly, the rain would come soon. Usually this peak is very hard to be seen because of the same color backside higher mountains. But rainy cloud covers the backside mountains, and the rain foreteller pyramid appears clearly.

永嶋慎二の思い出 Tanabata 2010-01

Shinji Nagashima is a well-known cartoon writer who lived and worked in Asagaya.
He wrote well the pathos of the youths in 1960s. He also did well the dreams of small boys. The boy on the giant carp is one of his images.

The boiled sole is one of my mothers recipes. In my boyhood, I remember I had had a few boiled soles a month. Now I have it a few a year. I didn't like fish so much in my boyhood. Now I love both meat and fish.
