RoboCupJunior Rescue Presentation Event

RobocupJunior Forum の Rescue のところに、RoboCupJunior Rescue Presentation Event という記事が掲載されていました。

今年の世界大会が新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大で流れてしまったので、チームのモチベーションアップのために考え出されたイベントなのかもしれません。

 

また、Google先生に頼って中身を読んでみたいと思います。

RCJ Rescue would like to hold a virtual presentation event to have some conclusion to the 2020 RoboCupJunior year for rescue Line and rescue Maze (Simulation will have its own kickoff event already announced on both newsletters and the forum by the TC/OC). The idea of this virtual event is to have a formal opportunity for teams present their excellent work within the RCJ rescue community in a condensed form, and to have some sense of closure to the year.

RCJ Rescueは、レスキューラインとレスキューメイズの2020 RoboCupJunior年について、仮想プレゼンテーションイベントを開催します。（Rescue Simulation は、別にイベントが公開されています。参照：Call for Volunteer Teams to Participate in RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation）　この仮想イベントは、チームが RCJ Rescue のコミュニティ内で作業を発表する正式な機会を提供し、その年に何らかの達成感を与えることです。

Participating teams will create a video about their progress and work, which will be made available for other teams to host discussions and gain inspiration for the future.

参加するチームは、自分達の進捗状況と作業についてのビデオを作成し、他のチームとのディスカッションを通して将来のヒントを得ることができます。

While awards cannot be issued by the RoboCup Federation, teams participating will be recognised by the RCJ Rescue TC/OC committees and a range of awards will be given for outstanding presentations.

RoboCup Federation として表彰するわけではありませんが、国際TC / OC が選定した、優れたプレゼンテーションには、さまざまな賞が授与されます。

（いろいろ勝手に意訳してます　笑）

 

ということで、プレゼンテーションのコンテストを開催するそうです。

 

参加者の条件は無い様です。（つまり誰でも参加可能・・・勿論、RoboCupJunior の General Rules に従う必要はあるでしょう。）

 

プレゼンというと・・・日本では、プレゼンポスターを思い浮かべると思います。（少なくとも私は、そう考えてしまいます。）　しかし、このイベントでは、10分間の動画を募集するようです。

そして

Please produce the video in English.

と書かれているように、英語で作成する必要があります。

 

You do not have to be visually present on camera in your video and you do not need to provide your name in your video if you do not wish to do so. 

この文の意味が分からないのですが・・・ visually present 映像での表現が必ずしも必要ではない・・・ということ!?

映像でなくて音声だけでも良いということ!?　で、次の文の名前を提供しなくて良い、という部分も良く分かりません。

誰か、正しい、文章の意味を教えてください。

 

当たり前ですが、メンターは映像コンテンツの作成には手を出してはダメだよ！　と、書かれてます。

 

最後に、締め切りとして、参加フォームの提出が6月18日で、映像の最終提出〆切が6月25日となっています。

（本イベントの日時はGMTです。　先日紹介した Rescue Simulation のイベントは EST でしたね。）

 

折角の国際イベントなので、沢山のチームの参加を期待しています。
