今年は、コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響で、世界大会も無くなって（正確には１年延期）しまったし・・・と、長い間 Forum を見ていなかったのですが・・・何気なく見たら、面白い情報が掲載されていました。

RoboCupJunior のレスキューシミュレーションとして 旧CoSpace Rescue の競技（現在の名称はジュニアの Rescue simulation）がありますが・・・これに代わる新シミュレーションを検討中でした。

今回の募集は、その新シミュレーション競技へのボランティア参加を募集するもののようです。

Call for Volunteer Teams to Participate in RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation Virtual Workshops and Demonstration (new simulation platform)

新しいRoboCupJunior Rescue Simulationの仮想（オンライン？）ワークショップとデモに参加するボランティアチームの募集

The RoboCupJunior Rescue league and the RoboCup Rescue Simulation league members have been working to develop a new RCJ Rescue Simulation platform for the RCJ Rescue Simulation league. The goal is to move the RCJ Simulation league from the CoSpace platform to the new simulation platform.
We have developed two new RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation platforms to be used in the RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation league in the future. This year, we would like to hold a series of tutorials online, workshops during RoboCup 2020 period, and volunteer teams to try out the platforms for our assessment through the RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation Virtual Demonstration scheduled to be held in September 2020. We plan to select one of the platforms to be used in 2021 as another demonstration.

RoboCupJunior Rescueでは、RCJ Rescue Simulation競技用の新しいプラットフォームの開発に取り組んでいます。 目標は、RCJ Rescue Simulation を CoSpaceプラットフォームから新しいプラットフォームに移行することです。
候補となる2つの新しいRoboCupJunior Rescue Simulationのプラットフォームを開発しました。今年は、一連のチュートリアル、ワークショップ、および2020年9月に予定されているRoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation Virtual Demonstrationを通じて評価のためのプラットフォームを試すボランティアチームを募集したいと思います。
2021年のデモンストレーションに使用するプラットフォームの1つを選択する予定です。

はい、話の趣旨は分かりました。

・RoboCupJunior のRescue simulation 競技を CoSpace ベースから、新しいものに移行したいです。

・移行する新 Rescue simulation の候補として２種類用意しました。

・今年（2020年）は、これら候補を試行してもらうために、チュートリアルを用意したり、ワークショップを開催します。

・2020年9月にはデモンストレーションを実施したいので、試行してくれるボランティアチームを募集します。

・その結果で、２種類の候補から新 Rescue simulation 競技を決定します。

・2021年の世界大会では、 新 Rescue simulation 競技のデモンストレーションを実施します。

The first Zoom Q&A meeting on the first webinar will be held on May 23, 2020 @ 1:00 pm (EST):

質問会が（今流行の！）Zoom で開催されるようですが・・・それが　５月23日 1:00PM(EST)に開催されます。

この EST というのは、米国の東部標準時のことらしいので・・・

 

日本では日曜日の 03:00 のようですね。（これは、日曜日の早朝ではなく土曜日の深夜でしょう!?　笑）

 

まあ、興味のあるチームは、２種類を試してみて欲しいと思います。
