石塔避難所 L’abris des vieilles statues de pièrres.

All of the old ston statues were built in the Yedo era in the large area of there.

And  the militaristic and economic animal Meiji gouvernment gathered them in this place for the road construction.  The gouvernment was a invader who had no concern with the local  people's believeness. The modern Japanese had the same thought as the Meiji gouvernment. But the few people who believe in the old world things keep these ones as local divines. 

(高円寺南、KoenjiMinami, Suginami ward）

社も鳥居も、もともと南（青梅街道の方）を向いて建てられてたそうだ。それを有志が環七の方へ向けて建て直したそうだ。

Cakeaterはずうっと青梅街道を歩いてたので、ここら辺に石塔があるはず（細い道が青梅街道から阿佐ヶ谷神明宮方面に曲がりくねって続いてる）なのにないと、不思議だったが今日やっと見つかりました。
