"No NATO, No War": U.S. Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan Return War Medals at NATO Summit
平和新聞へいただいた連載原稿で知ったのですが。。
そしてすでにFBなどでは結構流れていたみたいですが。。
先日シカゴで行われたＮＡＴＯサミットで、
これに対抗する集会が行われていたのだが、
そこでイラクやアフガニスタン帰還兵らがスピーチした。
さらにその場で、従軍の勲章メダルを
サミット会場に投げ返すパフォーマンスがあった。
そのスピーチがなかなかすごい。
デモクラシー・ナウが伝えているというので見てみた。
と言いつつ、英語だけでは私にはとても聞き取れない。
で、探したらちゃんと文字にされているものもあった。
これを片手に聞いてみると、とても胸を打つ。
