1"ゴイン・アウト・オブ・マイ・ヘッド」は、1964年にリトル・アンソニーとインペリアルズによって最初に録音されたテディ・ランダッツォとボビー・ワインスタインによって書かれた曲です。グループの幼なじみのランダッツォは、彼らのために特に曲を書き、以前のトップ20ヒットをグループに供給しました。彼らのオリジナル曲はビルボードトップ10ポップスマッシュで、1965年にカナダのRPMリストでビルボード・ホット100、2、No.1で6位に到達した。 この曲はキャッシュボックス誌のR&Bチャートで8号でピークに達した

今年は「うし」としですね「うし」というと牛乳石鹸を思い出します。牛乳石鹸は1961年から1972年まで毎週、日曜日に18：30～19：00放映の「シャボン玉」ホリデイ」を１社単独で提供しました。しかし、スポンサー探しが難航、しぶしぶ引き受けたスポンサーに対し、日本テレビは見返りとして番組名を『シャボン玉ホリデー』にした経緯があります。番組は洋楽とコントを中心に構成されたバラエティーです。出演はザ・ピーナッツ、クレイジー・キャッツなどでエンディングにはザ・ピーナッツ。の「スターダスト」の歌が流れます。私の音楽志向に影響を与えたテレビ番組でした。

バンド活動の近況を報告します。

先日(10月30日)、名古屋今池「ボトムライン」にてAnemoi(アネモイ)40周年記念Liveに出演しました。Anemoiｈ名古屋で活動しているPPMのガーバンドです。メンバーは我々が学生時代に属していた愛知大学フォークソング研究会の後輩たちです。ほかにも２バンドが出演盛大に開催されました。

Bark Ýellowsは取り合えず３人で活動しています。歌っている曲は、Turn  Around、The Travelers 3のカバーです。

白樺平ミニコンサート

９月２４日、白樺平ミニコンサート無事、終了いたしました。場所は先回ブログでご案内した木曽川の源流、味噌川ダム横にある防災資料館内の小ホールです。収容人員は６０～７０名程度、我々の演奏には程よい広さでした。

演奏時間はam11;00とｐｍ2：00の２回、客席も午前午後ともほぼ満席、なかなか盛況なコンサートとなりました。演奏の方は前日のハードな練習がたたり、声はガラガラ、それが原因ではありませんが、結果はいつも通り、完璧にはできませんでした。でも、半年ぶりのステージで歌い気持ちはよかったですね。また、機会があればすぐにでもスタージ立ちたいものです。

半年ぶりに練習しました

８月27日(土）久しぶりに全員集合、練習しました。
なんと、半年ぶり、１１;００～１７:００までみっちり。
とは言っても、メンバーも老体のため歌詞もコード忘れ気味、思い出し出し歌いました。
今回、集まったのは、来月２４日(土）、長野県木祖村でイベントがありそのイベントに出演するためです。詳細はまだわかりませんが、わかり次第、ブログで紹介します。

メンバー紹介

ＢＡＮＤ名“Ｂａｒｋ　Ｙｅｌｌｏｗｓ”の由来、直訳は“吠えろ　黄色人種”の意味、実は“馬鹿野郎S”をもじったもの。
レパートリーは、“BROTHERS FOUR”や”ＴＲＡＶＥＬＥＲＳ　ＴＨＲＥＥ”等の６０年代のＡＭＥＲＩＣＡＮ　ＦＯＬＫ　ＳＯＮＧです。

 このたびの東北地方太平沖地震により被災された皆様に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

さて、2011年３月13日二開催小牧市東部市民センター発表会、無事。終わりました。昨年の10月以来の久しぶりのスタージです。
