テレマークスキー、、、 個人レッスン ？

膝の治療の為に、スキーはしばらく休む予定でいた。まだ、関節に水が少々溜まっている。痛みは少し和らいだ感じだ。

今朝は久しぶりに雪も止み、青空もチラチラ見え始めた。どうしょうかと迷ったが、午後から、軽く滑ろうと思って、岩岳スキー場へ行く。

5－6回ゲレンデを変えながら滑った後、リフトで登っている時に、一人のテレマーカーがゲレンデを直線の小回りで上手にすべていた。上手いものだ、、と関心していた。

その人と同じゲレンデを数回滑る滑った後、彼の方から、”こんにちわ、”と挨拶を投げかけれくれた。同じテレマーカーの所以だ。親しく会話をかわし、私から図々しくも、教えて欲しいと頼み込んだ。彼はソフトブーツの細板だ、、。プロの人かも分からない？？。白馬在住の人で齢は60歳ぐらいか？

今まで私の滑りを観察していたのだろう、、。私の改善すべきポイントを適確に指摘してくれた。ゲレンデを一緒に2回滑りながら彼から丁重に分かりやすく指導を受けた。また、基礎からやり直しだ、、！！

彼に感謝、、！！

The Buffalo Theory... バファローの法則、、

面白い法則、、？があったので、ここで紹介

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the heard is hunted, it is the lowest and weakest onles at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and heald of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that is why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
