今日は24日(木）しばらくヨットに行っていないので、ブラリと行く事にした。天気が良いので１人で出港する。沖では少し風がでているようで、ジブだけの帆走で格好ヒールしながら走る。沖では大型タンカーが停泊していた。
風も段々と上がって来たので、ハーバーに戻る。イーストハウスに大型木造ヨットが繋留しており、大きな英国の国旗を風にたなびかせている。デッキにいるクルーに挨拶をして、私も近くの桟橋に繋留して話を聞きに行く。
福岡に入港した後、瀬戸内海を通って横浜に来たとの事、これからサンジェゴに行き、ロシア極東を周り、再び日本の沖縄に立ち寄り、台湾へ向って帰る、、。
聞き忘れてしまったが、どうもホームポートはHong Kong かもしれない。来年はシンガポールへ行く予定と言っていたが、、。昔、ポルトガル領のマデーラ島のヨットハーバーで大型カタマランを見学していたら、一緒に乗って行かないか？と大西洋横断のクルージングに誘われた事を思いだす。
I happed to meet 110 feet length giant crusing yacht mooring in our Yokohama Bay Side Marina while I was sailing alone.
She got into port of Fukuoka in Japan at first,and then cursing through up inland sea and Yokohama. After a couple of days mooring here to see the weather condition, she is scheduled to go sailing cross the ocean for San Giego, Far East Russian and Okinawa,, with 8 crew members.
Men loving sea will get along together soon. I recalled in good memory the old time when I was asked to board a big catamaran yacht at Madeira islands in Portugal together to cross the Atlantic Ocean.
