Fans left little doubt, about their favorite player in 2012: Mesut Özil finished first in a vote on Germany’s best player last year. The Real Madrid midfielder thus defended his title from 2011, when he also led the field in a vote by the 'Fan Club Nationalmannschaft powered by Coca-Cola'. Özil drew 32.49 percent of the overall vote, Miroslav Klose coming in second with 13.89 % and Marco Reus finishing third with 13.1 %.
2012年度ファン投票する際、ファン達にはほとんど迷いがなかったようだ。
昨年度ドイツ最優秀選手投票でメスト・エジルは一位となった。
レアル・マドリードのミッド・フィルダーは2011年に続き、最優秀選手のタイトルを守った。
エジルは投票数全体の32.49％を獲得、2位はクローゼで13.89％、3位はロイスの13.1％だった。
It is neither coincidence nor a sign of strict fan allegiance that Mesut Özil ranked on top. He played in 13 of 14 international games for Germany – only Thomas Müller and Miroslav Klose matched this output. With 1,089 minutes played, Mesut Özil was ahead of everybody. His six goals scored in 2012 also were unmatched. With an additional six assists, he was also the team's top scorer.
Two members of the 'Fan Club Nationalmannschaft powered by Coca-Cola' will present Özil with the award at the World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan in Nuremberg on March 26. Overall, 19,505 votes were cast.
エジルがトップだったのは、偶然とかファン達が結束した結果とかではなく、彼の実績がもたらしたものだ。
彼は代表試合14試合中13試合でプレー。（試合数ではミュラー、クローゼが同数）プレー時間総トータル1089分で、他の選手より抜きん出た数字だった。2012年度ゴール数６は他を引き離し、さらに6アシストも記録した。チームのトップ・スコアラーでもある。
3月26日にヌルンベルクで行われるＷＣ予選カザフスタン戦で、ファンクラブの2人の会員から賞が授与される。

Mesut Ozil has been voted Germany's player of the year by supporters for the second year running.
In a poll conducted by the German Football Association (DFB), the Real Madrid midfielder picked up almost a third of the vote to win the title.
"I am proud of this award," said Ozil on the DFB website. "It is recognition of my performances over a long period of time and the opinion of the fans is always particularly important to me."
Klose's second goal in Germany's 4-4 draw with Sweden won the fans' vote for Germany's goal of the season on 22.9 per cent, ahead of former team-mate Mario Gomez, whose goal against Holland at Euro 2012 earned 16.61 per cent of the vote.

ドイツ・フットボール協会が行った投票の結果、レアル・マドリードのエジルが全投票数の３分の１を得票数でタイトルを獲得した。

ドイツ語→翻訳機なので、？？だけど、だいたい言ってることは以下のようです。

メスト・エジル、マダム・タッソーの蝋人形に！
Model will stand for on 17 January in Madrid Özil, a spokeswoman for the Museum said Wednesday. "There are exactly 226 measurements taken with a tape measure and caliper and more than 150 photos made from the different angles of head and body," she said.
A large majority of visitors have wished for the figure of German national player. Until it is to see in the Museum, they must however still a little wait. Making the figure will take between four and five months, the spokesperson told further.
来週17日にマドリードで採寸が行われる。マダム・タッソーの広報担当者によると
『226ヶ所が正確に採寸され、150枚以上の顔と身体の写真が違うアングルから撮られることになっている。』とのこと。
ミュージアムを訪れた多く人達が、このドイツ代表選手、エジルの像を望んでいた。
彼の像のお目見えまで、私達は少し待たなければならない。像造りには4～5か月かかる予定。

ロンドンのマダム・タッソー蝋人形ミュージアムは、シャーロック・ホームズ・ミュージアムの近くなので、前を通過した（笑）ことありますが、ベルリンにもあるんだ。

クリスティアーノやカーン、皇帝などの蝋人形がすでにあるようです。
この若さで、その仲間入りとはすごいな、エジル。
どのユニフォーム（やっぱり代表ユニフォーム？）で、どんなポーズをとった像になるのでしょう。
