Michael Ballack believes the weekend's win proved Chelsea are in the right frame of mind to suceed in the remaining games of the season.
バラックは、アーセナル戦勝利によって、チェルシーは、シーズン残り試合に、上手く勝ち残っていけそうだ、と感じたそうだ。
Our German midfielder insists coming back from a one-goal deficit following another comeback midweek against Liverpool confirms Chelsea's intent, passion and spirit and he says we'll keep fighting in all our remaining competitions.
リヴァプール戦で追いついたのと同様、アーセナル戦でも1点ビハインドから逆転した、という試合経緯が、チェルシーの強い意思、意気込み、そして気力を表している、残り全試合も、この気迫で戦い続ける、と語った。
'In the last two games we have come back from 1-0 and 2-0, we have shown great character and that is what we have to keep doing.
バラック：『ここ2試合、１－０、２－０から追いついています。素晴らしい粘りを見せた訳で、これこそ今後も続けて示さねばならない点です。』
'We have to be really focused like we showed against Arsenal in the FA Cup and against Liverpool in the Champions League last week.

'We are focused on the league until the end, we know it will be difficult to go top, because in the last two games the other teams were a little bit lucky, but that's what you need to stay on top.'

Guus Hiddink spurred the side into a dramatic comeback against Liverpool last week, but against Arsenal the situation was slightly different as the scores were already even at the break.
ヒディンクは先週のリヴァプール戦で、ハーフタイムにチェルシー選手達を叱咤激励して、後半は劇的な展開となったが、対アーセナル戦では状況が少し異なった。ハーフタイムの時、すでに同点になっていたからだ。
'The Champions League game it was a little bit more difficult because we were 2-0 down and we weren't looking too good, but against Arsenal it was a draw, so at the break things were a bit more quiet,' explained Ballack, speaking about the half time team talk.
『チャンピオンズ・リーグの時は、より厳しい状況でしたね。２－０で追いかける状況でしたし、チーム状態はあまり良くなかったからです。アーセナル戦では、前半終了時、１－１でタイでしたから、ハーフタイムでは、まあ、落ち着いていましたよ。』と、バラックはハーフタイムのブレイク時の、チームの話し合いについて語った。
Saturday's win came courtesy of a Didier Drogba goal, his eighth against Arsenal since arriving in west London, and Ballack knows that a player of his calibre will continue to produce crucial goals in important games.
アーセナル戦の勝利は、ドログバの決勝ゴールの結果だった。これはドログバにとって、チェルシー加入後、対アーセナル戦８ゴール目に当たる。彼ほどの能力を持ったプレーヤーは、大切な試合で、決定的なゴールを決め続けるのだろう、とバラックは語る。
'He is a player who can decide big games, he is a strong player mentally and physically and that is what he showed against Arsenal.'

Ballack went on to explain why Saturday's game was such a tough fixture: 'Everybody knows they [Arsenal] can play football, they can hold the ball and it is difficult to get the ball off them. You have to run a lot, you have to fight a lot and that's what we did. But they had the same problems because we played well.'
バラックはアーセナル戦が、なぜあのように厳しい試合になったのか、を説明した。

Our next opponents in the competition are Everton, after they knocked Manchester United out on Sunday afternoon, and Ballack's looking forward to some FA Cup practice on Wednesday night.

'They are doing well at the moment, for us on Wednesday is another big game, another difficult game, but we play at home and we will want to win it as usual.
『エヴァートンは今、調子を上げています。僕達にとって、水曜のエヴァートン戦は大切な試合です。厳しい試合になるでしょう。でもホームの試合ですから、もちろん勝ちたいと思います。』
'If you see the last games we really played good football, we came back from difficult situations and now we can go further and maybe win more titles.'
