Curry wandering 009 - Sasami-Katsu-Curry - 「coco Ichibanya Halal Akihabara」

Coco Ichibanya is curry restaurants in Japan. We call it Cocoichi. A major chain with about 1,400 stores in Japan. 

Cocoichi sterted a new attempt. How, Cocoichi opened a store that received Halal certification in Akihabara.  The store is located in an unobtrusive place in Showa street.  The stores signboads are generally yellow. However, Halal store is green signboad.

I'm not a Muslim, but I tried challenging Halal curry. We use pork in Katsu-curry. However, Halal's Katsu is chicken.

How to order is easy.

First,  choose the  curry.

Next, choose the amount  of rice and spicy level. Of course, It's extra charge.

I chose Sasami-Katsu-Curry. It's ￥950.The amount of rice=Normal（300g）, Spicy level=1（+￥21）

Sasami is chicken fillets very softly.

Halal curry is the same as what we always eat.

I 'm glad that Muslim people came to eat Japanese curry.
