A book ・・・ I hope I would like all Barbie enthusiasts to read.

This is a book titled "Barbie & Me ".Since it's originally printed in 2011 some of Barbie enthusiasts already be aware of it. 

Its a memoir of a lady named "Fumiko Miyatsuka", the doll dress designer and producer who once worked for KB comapny. KB comapny was an old and historical trading comapny which served as an agent of Mattel Toys from  late 50's.

As you know, 1957 "Charlotte Johnson" the designer of Mattel came and stayed for a year in Tokyo to develop Mattel's new doll Barbie on Ruth and Elliot Handler's order. While she was in Tokyo Fumiko Miyatsuka worked so hard as Charlotte's assistant.  She devoted all her time to launching first babie doll. 

Charlotte stayed in Imperial Hotel Tokyo and worked with Fumiko in a hotel room.

In the book we can find out many interesting untold stories of early time. The contents consist of 165 pages of text and some of rare outfit photos inside.

We can see some of rare prototype outfits inside the book.

I was really impressed that she made a tremendous effort to put Barbie out into the world during Charlotte's stay.

If it were not for her Barbie would haven't had such high quality and today in the antique doll market it would't had been of significant value to collectors. 

I strongly hope this book would be published in English and many collectors would read it and know how she played an extraordinary role in the birth od Barbie with Charotte.

I have already made an inquiry to see if the publisher to try to publish the book in English for the foreign market.
