"Ecoflag Day" - Tree planting & UNDOKAI festival -2

GSAが国連環境計画（UNEP）と共同で推進しているこのプロジェクトでは、スポーツのトレーニングだけではなくて、UNEP指導の下、環境教育も行われます。今日はみんなで植樹をしました。
























The Global Sports Alliance (GSA) is one of UN Environment Programme’s partner on sport and the environment. We support the Nature and Sport Camp (Dream Camp) in Nairobi, Kenya and to promote the Ecoflag Movement – a global drive that seeks to increase environmental awareness and action in the world of sport. We raised the Ecoflag after declaring the sporting day a green games, and planted tree. "Fair play and Ecoplay-this is the true nature of sportsmanship!”

今年もケニアへ！

今年もこの季節がやってきました！ GSA/UNEPの「スポーツ＆環境教育プログラム」の指導でケニアへ。今しがた無事に到着しました。初めて訪れたのが11年前。もうここは第2の故郷！ここが僕のアナザースカイ！！



I arrived at Nairobi. I first came to Kenya eleven years ago. I thinks of Kenya as my second home!

ケニア・ナイロビに到着！

ケニアに無事到着！ 現地の皆さんに1年ぶりに再会することができました。もうかれこれ5回目のケニアです。


こちらは一応冬。日本の茹だるような熱帯夜から、夜は冷房なし、半袖・短パンから長袖トレーナーへの衣替えに何とも言えない爽快感を感じます。ケニアは赤道直下の国なんですけどナイロビは標高が高いので避暑地に来ている感覚なのです。










I returned to Kenya after one years’ absence. I am very happy to be able to reunite with Sadili’s staff and kids!

今年もケニアに向けて

学園オリンピックも終了し、今年もバタバタとGSA/UNEPの「スポーツ＆環境教育プログラム」の指導でケニアに向かいます。まず経由地のドバイに到着、数時間後にはケニアに向けて発ちます。しばし空港内にあるホテルでひとときの休息zzz…。



I'm just about to check-in at Dubai International Airport Hotel. It is located inside terminals. and a short rest!!! zzz...Change airplanes after a few hours…

スポーツ環境委員会の会議後に台湾学会へ！

授業後、日本テニス協会スポーツ環境委員会の会議に出席するため都内へ。H26年度の事業計画の確認、今年度も堅実な啓発・実践活動を行っていきます！



その足で羽田空港へ。学会参加のため台湾師範大学に向かいます。せっかくだからオイシイ飲茶をたくさん食べてこよっと。しばし誰もいないラウンジでマッタリ中...。
My academic conference presentation will be conducted tomorrow... 2014 International Conference of Sports, Leisure and Hospitality Management @National Taiwan Normal University.





第15回エコプロダクツ2013のシンポジウム

東京国際展示場で開催されている日本最大級の環境展示会「第15回エコプロダクツ2013」。



GSA理事長の三浦雄一郎さん、理事の蟹瀬誠一さんとともにトークショーを担当してきました。エベレスト山頂の現状や周辺環境の変化など、地球規模での環境問題への取り組みについてお話ししました。









会場では、2005年に行われた万博「愛・地球博」の時のマスコットキャラクター、モリゾーとキッコロに8年ぶりに再会。森の妖精は健在でした。当時、GSAが関わったスポーツサミットのことを思い出しました。。。


ハバナ最終日

It's the last night for me to stay @Havana.









カバーニャ要塞で行われている「大砲の儀式」を見に行きました。毎日21時になるとハバナの街に大砲の「ドン！」という音が響きます。これはハバナ湾の対岸にあるカバーニャ要塞で150年間続いている儀式なんだそうです。あぁ、充実したキューバ生活でした。。。
