Who is your best friend?
Describe the person and say why he/she is your best friend.
My best friend is the late Yoshinori Hosoya.
I first met him when we were tenth graders.
Since then we had been best friends for two reasons.
Firstly, we complemented each other.
For example, when I hesitated to try something, he gave me the push.
And when he rushed for a conclusion, I stopped him.
Secondly, we lived the same youth.
We left our home town together and entered the same college in Tokyo.
We shared a house and led a low-income student life.
Our college days were so tough, but we could overcome many hardships by encouraging each other.
This experience made us lifelong comrades.
