 アメリカのNIH（国立衛生研究所）は、1,100万ドル（約１１億円）の基金を２つのアメリカと韓国の医学研究所（アメリカ、ハーバード大学と韓国韓医学院）に５年に渡って提供する。fMRI研究は、脳活動を計測・分析する機器として用いられる（The U.S.-based National Institutes of Health provided 11-million U.S. dollars in funds to support the five-year long project, jointly carried out by the two Korean and American medical institutes.The fMRI -- or functional magnetic resonance imaging -- will be the main apparatus used to measure and analyze brain activity.）
