Cultural Landscape As Classroom
カルチュラル・ランドスケープ（文化的景観）評価の世界的な高まりに対するアメリカの回答（のひとつ）が文化的景観基金（The Cultural Landscape Foundation）による取り組み。危機景観に対するプログラム“Landslide / landscape at Risk”、アメリカンランドスケープデザインのパイオニア達を記録するプログラム“Pioneers of American Landscape Design”、教育用マルチメディア・プロジェクト“Cultural Landscape As Classroom”の３本柱で活動を行っている。このうちCultural Landscape As Classroomに関わる活動が、今年のASLAの賞を受賞している。良くできている。教育に打って出るあたりは上手い戦略だと思う。ASLAのウェブサイトでの紹介はこちら。

The Getty Foundation's Campus Heritage Initiative
もう一つは、アメリカンランドスケープのミュージアムと呼びうる大学キャンパスのランドスケープを遺産として保護していくためのGetty Foundationの取り組み。
