RoboCup Junior 2001

続いて、2001年の大会の情報について・・・

アメリカのシアトルで開催された2001シアトル世界大会です。

 

 

これを見ると・・・もう、3つの競技が揃っています。

サッカー、レスキュー、ダンス

 

説明では

This year, there are three open challenges

となっています。

 

それぞれに、ルールがあるのですが・・・サッカー以外は「短い！」

しかもレスキューは、現在のルールとは似ても似つかない感じです。

ついでにサッカーの説明

2-on-2 teams of robots play games in a field color-coded in shades of grey.

レスキューの説明

robots race to rescue victims from disaster scenarios.

ダンスの説明

one or more robots wear costumes and move creatively to music.

レスキューの「ロボットレース」という表現が何故か新鮮です。

 

サッカーのルールの最後の方に早速

Spirit.
It is hoped that all participants, students and mentors, will respect the RoboCup Junior mission. The referees will officiate within the spirit of the event. "It is not whether you win or lose, but how much you learn that counts."

が入っていますねぇ。

 

レスキューには、この「精神」が書かれていません・・・が

All other rules of concerning "Inspection" and "Environment" are the same as for the Soccer challenge.
あとは、サッカーと同じ・・・アバウトな（おおらかな）ルールですね。

 

さらに、ダンスのルールには・・・

Teams must bring a CD or audio cassette tape of their robots' music.

音楽をCDか、「カセットテープ」を持ってくることになってました。　この「カセットテープ」というのが、時代を感じさせます。
