最近私の息子家族が初めてディズニーランドに行って来ました。
何で行ったか？
って言うと親戚から株主優待の無料券を貰ったからです。
この話を読んで
それがどうしたの？
って思った人いますよね。
何でこんな事書いてるか？
って言うと
私たち人間は
自分の意志で行動してるようで
実は環境によって行動が決まる
この良い例だからです。
息子たちは株主優待が手に入ったから行きましたが
そうで無ければしばらく行く事は無かった
そう思います。
何でそれが不思議か？
って言うと
息子たちは近いのにこれまで
デイズニーランドに行こうとしなかったのですが
沖縄の甥や姪たちは
全員子供たちを連れてディズニーランドに来た経験があります。
離れてる人たちはわざわざ飛行機に乗って来るのに
近くにいる人は行こうとしない
この理由を探ると
先ほど言った
私たちの行動は環境によって決まる
そんな物が見える訳です。
私の息子たちはディズニーランドには行きませんが
逆に沖縄の観光地は地元の人たちよりたくさん行っています。
つまり
私たちは普段と違う環境にあるから
観光地に行くのです。
私自身沖縄に行くと
地元の人はまず行く事の無い城跡ばかり回っています。
面白い事に
４月に行った時に
私の部落の近くにある具志川城跡に行きましたが
もちろん私以外には誰もいませんでした。
で
しばらく石垣の上から海を眺めて帰ろうとすると
白人の中年夫婦がやって来ました。
目が合いましたので挨拶して少し話しましたが
彼等はオーストラリアからわざわざ来たそうです。
私が昔ケアンズで瀧をたくさん見て感動した
って話をすると
曰く
“ケアンズに瀧があるのか？”
ですって
まぁそんな感じです。
日本人は大金をかけてケアンズに行くのに
シドニーに住んでる人たちは行かない
逆に
沖縄の人は誰も行かない具志川城跡に
オーストラリアから大金をかけてやってくる
まぁ何とも合理性を欠いた行動のように思えますよね。
まあしかしこれが人間ですから
否定しても行けませんが
ただ思いますが
遠くを見るのも良いですが
たまには足元を見ると
そこには気づかなかった世界があり
新鮮な発見がある
そう思いますね。
私の自宅の前には公園があって
週末にはいつも孫たちと遊んでいますが
ここも調べれば
元々は成瀬城の城主の館があったそうです。
それを知るだけで
普段見馴れた光景が全く違って見えますよね。
人間も同じです。
有名人や偉人ばっかりに興味を持つのではなく
たまには身近にいる人達にも目を向ければ
そこには知られてない偉人たちがたくさんいるのが分かります。
私は社員や孫たちを見て
私自身より優れてる
そんな面をたくさん知っています。
そしてそれがあるから
上から目線で接する事無く
仲良くなれてる
そう思っています。
そして
本当に知らなければ行けないのは
もっと身近な存在です。
それは自分です。
自分の内面をしっかり見つめれば
そこには
日頃目を反らしてる
弱さとかずるさ
あるいは無知とか軽薄
そんな部分が見えてきます。
それも
自分の謙虚と結びつきますので
傲慢になって周りから疎まれてる
そう思ったら
まず人を見下す資格が自分にあるか？
それをしっかり確認すると良いでしょう。

My sons didn't go to go to Disneyland even though it's nearby.
Nephews and nieces in Okinawa
All of them have the experience of taking their children to Disneyland.
People who live far away come by plane.
People nearby don't want to go
Looking for the reason for this
I said it earlier
our behavior is determined by the environment
That's what I see.

They visited more tourist spots in Okinawa than locals.
In other words
We are interest in a different environment than usual.
When I went to Okinawa myself
I visited castle ruin frequently where local people never come
When I went in April
I went to the Gushikawa Castle ruin near my village.
Of course there was no one else there except me.
After looking at the sea from the top of the stone wall for a while, I was about to go home.
Then
A middle-aged white couple arrived.
Our eyes contacted , so I said hello and talked a little.
Apparently they came all the way from Australia.
And I said
I was impressed when I saw many waterfalls in Cairns a long time ago.
Then he said
“Is there a waterfall in Cairns?
Well, it's like that.
Japanese people spend a lot of money to go to Cairns.
People who live in Sydney don't go.
vice versa

Coming from Australia at a great price
Well, that seems like an irrational move.
but this is a human being.
I can't deny it, but
I just think
It's good to see far away
But also it is important to see at our feet
There's a world out there that we didn't realize
There is a fresh discovery
I think so.
There is a park in front of my house
I always play with my grandchildren on the weekends.
When I check a history of this place
It is said that it was originally the residence of the lord of Naruse Castle.
just knowing that
The familiar sights look completely different.
The same goes for humans.
Don't just interest about celebrities and great people
Sometimes if we pay attention to the people around you
We understand that there are many great people out there who are unknown.
When look at my employees and grandchildren.
They are better than myself
I know a lot of things like that.
And because it is
Without looking at them from above
We could make good relationship
I think so.
