The news that Nakayama Miho passed away was a surprise.
I don't know the cause of death yet,
so I can't say anything rash,
but the first thing that came to my mind was "beautiful women die young."
Well, she was 54, so maybe "life is short" is not the right word...
We had a fan at our company who was sad.
When I saw the man,
I thought,
"I guess fans are getting old too..."
Anyway, Nakayama Miho passed away while soaking in the bathtub.
She died suddenly, even though she had the energy to take a bath.
If she had died after suffering from a long illness like Kita no Fuji or Yashiro Aki, she wouldn't have to cause so much trouble to those around her,
but in the case of Nakayama Miho,
she has many concerts scheduled,
it must be difficult for those involved.
They spent a lot of effort and money preparing for them,
but it didn't come to fruition,
so now they have to spend effort and money on cleaning up afterwards.
However, we can't blame the people who died,
so we have no choice but to accept it,
but this pattern is often seen in business as well.
There were many cases where apartments that had been built with great care were demolished without being sold due to the false earthquake resistance of architect Aneha,
and I felt truly sorry for them at the time,
thinking about how helpless the people involved must have felt.
Recently, Sekisui House demolished an apartment building that was almost complete,
but I can't understand why they did so.
The official reason was that it would ruin the scenery,
but they knew that before it was built, so why demolish it after it was completed?
I suspect that there must be some reason that hasn't been made public.
In business, similar stories sometimes appear in the news
outside of construction, such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries' withdrawal from the MRJ and Toshiba's cancellation of its nuclear power plant business.
These were huge amounts of money wasted that could not be compared to the cost of building an condominiums apartment building.
Money itself is a big issue, but I wonder how the people involved felt.
Well, private matters are the responsibility of the individual, so it doesn't concern me,
but what really pissed me off was the loss caused by the cancellation of the World City Expo during the time of Governor Aoshima.
60 billion yen of Tokyo residents' money was wasted,
and it was a terrible story. It made me want to ask for your taxes back.
When people's efforts are wasted,
they can sometimes feel so much pain that they go mad.
There was a movie a long time ago where a soldier who escaped from prison was forced to dig a hole and then fill it back up
It seems that this was also done in the former Soviet Union,
and if this is repeated,
it seems to make people mad.
I always keep this human nature in mind when running a small business.
In other words, I don't want my employees to do anything that is a waste.
There was a company I know well that was a real estate agency
that repeatedly starts and stops various business ventures.
At the time,
diversification of business was very popular,
but in every industry, there are companies that are dedicated to their business.
Even so, starting a new business half-heartedly is not going to work.
As a result, they would end up losing money and withdrawing, and this cycle would repeat. And each time, the people involved in the new business had quit.
I saw this up close, so I don't get involved in anything unnecessary.
I have barely managed to survive in the real estate world, where I have many years of experience,
so I have no confidence in doing it in another industry.
On the other hand, I often see people from other industries trying their hand at real estate,
but most of these don't work out.
Recently, there have been some salaried investors who opened real estate agencies because they were successful in apartment management,
but please be careful.
Apartment management and real estate management are completely different things.
The reason is...
This is getting long,
but I'll continue later...
