自信を持つ
To have confidence for yourself:

真に創造的なことを始めようとする際、最も重要なことは、自分自身に対する信頼、つまり自信を持つことである。自分の中に確固たる判断基準を持ち、それを信じ行動できるようでなければ、創造の領域で模索する間に、道を見失ってしまう。
What is the most important when you begin things creative is a trust for yourself, or to have confidence for yourself. Unless you have a firm yardstick for judgement ,and are able to act based on your trust on that, you would highly lose your way in the middle of the path for creativity.

物をつくるだけではいけない。それがどう役立って共同生活の向上をもたらすのかを考えねばならない。（物づくり）（松下幸之助の言葉から）
Only producing things is not good enough. What's more, you should have to think how the things produced could enhance the quality of people's communal lives. ( production of things )

人間として一番尊いものは徳である。だが徳は教えることも習うこともできない。自分で身につけるしかない。（徳）（松下幸之助の言葉から）
What is the most precious is virtue. But it is neither what you can teach others, nor what you can learn from others. There is no way except you have to learn it by yourself. (virtue)
