Acording to the plan, universities will found graduate schools pecializing in training software-related technicians. In the next year, Tsukuba and Kyushu Universities will establish their graduate schools. By the end of fiscal 2009, 10 universities will have started their schools.Organizations in industrial field include Keidanren(the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations),Fujitsu,Hitachi,and other twelve companies.They will jointly operate these graduate schools with each universiti as they will dispatch instructors with expertise to the schools.

Theme:Is tradition always worth preserving?
・伝統といってもいろいろある。
・いいものもあるし、捨てたいものもある。
・誰がそのよしあしを決めるのか。
・最後はそれぞれの個人だ。
・よいものを見分ける鑑識眼を養いたい。
・日本は明治維新以来この１５０年間の間に社会が激変した。
・その過程で、優れた日本の伝統も見捨てられてきた経緯もある。
・外国のものに眼が行きがちだ。
・優れたものがわが国にもある。
・それらは大事にしたい。
・大きく言えば文化、私は古典文学でも優れたものがあるとつくづく思う。
・今時間がないけど退職したら老後は日本の古典文学を味わいたい。
・けど、捨てるべきものもあるよ。
・考え方とか、
・家族主義とか、何とか？
・捨てるべきは捨てろ。しかしいいものもある。
・最後はしかし、一人一人の、ものを見るめ、ほんしつ、真の美を見出しえる眼が備わる　かどうか問題なのだ。

と、材料としてはあるのだが、これがうまく整理できるかどうかがポイント。それをしなけりゃ、意味がない。

To be frank, as to this question, my answer is that there is a good trdition which we should preserve,but also thereis a bad tradition which we should get out of.I would like to explain my thoughts about it in a little detail.
At least when a thing is referred to a tradition by people, the thing has long been praised among people. But the contents vary from thing to thing.
Apparaisal of things is sometimes pararell with the times. So as time changes, people's thinking often changes.

What is tradition? I think it is some things,ways of thinking,cultures,and something which people have long esteemed and evaluated (praised) as a good thing. In Japan, our ancestors have developed some beautiful and unique culture or things,like,for example, kabuki, bunraku, Kyogen,rakugo,ikebana,tea ceremony ,or priority to descendant's education.

Looking back into our modern history, about 150 years ago, the Meiji
Restoration took place, and since then Japan has experienced drastic social change.In the process, a lot of tradition have been made light of and buried ,especially after the defeat of World War 2. But as Japan has recovered from its ruin and become a giant at least in economic terms, many people have come to be again aware of goodnes and beauty of our contry's tradition.At present there is surely a sense of faithfylly reevaluating our tradition.

There are lots of unique and beautiful things mentioned just now in our country. So I think these should be preserved from now on and handed down on the next generation.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I THINK AMONG THINGS WHICH ARE CALLED TRADITION THERE ARE SOME WHICH SHOULD BE ABOLISHE. FOR EXAMPLE, SO-CALLED TOO STRONG GROUP-ORIENTED WAY OF THINKING IS A BAD TNIHG WHICH I SURELY DISLIKE.IT CAN BE SEEN EVERYWHERE IN COMPANIES, FAMILIES,OR SOMETHING LIKE TAHT.THIS WAY OF THINKING IS AKIN TO BAD,NATORIOUS MILITALISM(mititarismが正しい）OF OLD JAPAN IMPERIAL.

MY ANSEWR IS THAT GOOD TARDITION SHOULD BE PRESERVED BUT BAD TRADITION SHOULD BE ABOLISHED.

最初のマインド・マップの所とだいぶ言い方が変わりました。ただいえることは、私も含めて、まとまりのあることを言うまでのプロセスを回避する癖が多くの日本人にあります。断片はいえるわけです。それをまとめることをしない。どんなに短くても、いわば、INTRO,BODY,CONCLUSIONを意識したものにしておく必要があるのではないでしょうか。

Theme:Do the rich have a responsibility to help the poor in society?

たとえば仲間同士で居酒屋で酒を飲みながら、標記のテーマについて日本語で話すならそれなりになるのですが、たとえ少人数としても少し改まった場所で、話をしようとすると、さまになる人は俄然少なくなるでしょう。日本語でもそれだから英語だとなおさら。話すことに対して漫然と受身であってはならない。と私は思う。最近読んだ「社会人のための英語百科」（大修館書店）のなかの「論文の書き方」でのinstructionを参考にします。instructuionとはマインドマップといって個人でやるブレーンストーミングみたいなものです。浮かんでくる言葉を書きとめてそれらを後から関連付けグループ化して言いたいことをまとめて行く、というものです。

・いつの世でも金持ちの人、貧乏な人はいる。
・それは仕方ない。
・問題は過度の差異があるとか、偏りとかである。
・その種の問題は個人的というより社会全体で解決すべき。
・政治とかの責任である。
・だが人の幸せとは何か？
・経済的に金持ちといって幸せとは限らない。
・だがそれで幸せと思うなら思えばいいではないか。
・そう思える人は、周りに感謝する心を持つといいなと思う。
・責任とかということではなく、ボランティアも含めて感謝の気持ちを社会に対して表現　することは大事だ。
・それが貧しい人への手助けであるかも知れない。
・けれどそれは責任とかの概念ではないでしょう。

まあ、こんなのがたとえば出てくるんです。これはいろいろ関連しているはずで、これをまとめることが必要でしょう。
私の観察では多くの日本人はここからのまとめ、整理の工程を踏まない。口からでまかせ。言っていることは、それなりになるほどと思えるが、まとまりがないから。それで要するに「あなたはどう思っているんですか」が明らかにならない場合が多い。日本語文化ではそれは通用するとしても、英語文化ではそれは最悪である。日本人の多くが英語下手だというのは、根本的にはそうしたマインドセットがあるからだと思う。

When rich people help poor people in some ways in a society, it is a good thing.But I don't think it is a matter of responsibility. It is rather a matter of individual's faith.

It is inevitable and common thing that there are rich people and also poor people at the same time in a society. The problem is the situation in which there is too big disparity or social gap between the rich and th poor. But this kind of problem should be essentially dealt with in a broader context, that s, in politics.

By the way, before discussing this issue, I think people should think what is a man's happiness. Being rich only economically does not always mean the man is happy.But being rich itself is not bad thing.

If people think they are happy, they should have a sense of gratitude towards society,or other people.And they should show it in a real action like volunteer activities.One of these benevolent activities may lead to helping the poor.

Again, I think the issue of whether the rich should help the poor or not is not a matter of responsibility. It is a matter of individual man's faith.

この種のテーマも議論には正解があるというものではない。ポイントは、要するに自分の意見をわかりやすく、論理的に表現できるかどうかである。

The Bank of Japan released "a Nichigin Outlook Report" ,which is the outlooks on the overall economy and prices.
The release of this report is the first time since this March when the long-awaited lifting of so-called quantitative-easing manetary policy was implemented.
Acording to the report, Japan's year-on-year prices increase range will likely be expanded gradually for a while.The governor Hukui said,concerning lifting the Bank of Japan's zero-interest policy, that the dcision is difficult because it should be not in a hurry and also not behind the time.As to the economy from now on, HUkui said that it will expand for a while with a good balance of demands both at home and abroad.

theme:What role should the United Nations play in international politics?
なかなかものを考えるということはやっているようでやっていないものです。特に年がいくと考えなくなります。で、無理やり自分の頭にかんがえさせようと思います。
正解があるとかの問題ではありません。
①世界の紛争の解決②過度の貧困の撲滅③地球温暖化防止、位をやってほしいなと、考えると：

First of all , I think the first role the United Nations should play is solution of disputes.Disputes between nations and between racial or ethic groups have never disappeared until now.Through UN's involvement,some were settled down ,although all were not settled down and some were expanded to wars.

The second role is removal of poverty.It is inevitable and general thing that there is a rich group and a poor group in a community at the same time.But the situation in which a specific group of people is extremely poor must be averted.That kind of situation may cause another kind of mishpas, both politically and economically.In reality, there are many people confined in the extreme poverty in the world ,especially in some developing countries.Although it is the matter of the country of the poverty itself , but in a broader sense, it is necessary for The United Nations takae initiatives to remove the situation.

The third role of UN Iwant to insist is its activities for preventing the globe from becoming warmer. At present, the U N is engaed in its activity. But it is insuficient. The Kyoto Protocol engagement is of course under U N's auspices.But it does not include the US and China, which both are most CO2-emitting countries.In taht sense, UN must make further efforts in this field.
As more than half a century has passed since its foundation, some controversial problems have surfaced. Then I think some necessary revision of organizationa framework should be implemented.
