試練は人生の分岐点
A hardship is a turning point in your life:

私は、人間的成長には「試練」が不可欠だと考えている。
I think some hardship is required for people's personality development.
「試練」に直面したときに、打ち負かされてしまうのか、妥協してしまうのか。それとも、「試練」に対峙し、苦難を克服しようと、さらに努力を重ねることができるのか。ここに人生の分岐点がある。
When you face a hardship, there're some possibilities. You can be defeated by that or you can compromise with that. Other option is you squarely face that and make further efforts to get over. This is your big turning point in your life.

You should, of course, get a victory at a match for win. But you should not take a mean measures for that. (fair and right)
