According to sources familiar with the matter, Tokyou Stock Exchange and Osaka Securities Exchange reached an basic agreement Friday in terms of fainal conditions for their business integration. The integration ratio was decided as TSE's market capitalization is to be evaluated to be around 1.7 times that of OSE. Merger will take place having two steps.First of all,two entities will be merged around January of 2013, and the next step, in one or two yeras,the merged entity will be reorganized, being divided into 4 subsidiaries responsible for each business area like stocks,derivatives,etc. Newly established holding company will be named "Japan Exchange Group," which is to be announced next Tuesday after the two companies each have a board of directors' meeting and get an official decision.
