空港外資規制　見送り　政府　今国会、法案に盛らず　対日投資への影響へ配慮

The government has decided to postpone the enactment of the adoption of the regulation against foreign fund investments in airport-related companies in Japan. Initially, the Ministry of Land,Infrastructure and Transport intended to submit the bill amending the current Airport Facility Maintenance Law,which also included the clause for regulating the foreign fund investments,into the current Diet session. But,the ministry has finally decided to exclude the clause from the bill. This decision has come after the negative effects of the regulation,if enacted,have been carefully took into consideration.

The Fair Trade Commission is now proceeding to form a new framework with other ministries and agencies ,including Economy ,Trade and Industry Ministry,for investigating corporations, in order to strengthen the crackdown against illegal activities like an unfair transaction including selling activity with unfair cheap prices.Specifically,employees in the ministries and agencies concerned could be temporarily appointed as the ones of the Fair Trade Commission concurrently, so that they are able to check firms which are under the jurisdiction of their bodies.This means that cooperation,between the Fair Trade Commission and other government's bodies which have an administartive control over each industry,makes the watch enhanced,as well as makes information gathering and screening more flexible than the present. Concerning the surveillance on gasolin unfair cheap selling,the employees of the Economy,Trade and Industry Ministry will be assigned for the duty.

Sharp Corporation will have an alliance with each of Daiwa House Industry Co.,Ltd. and Dai Nippon Printing Co.,Ltd in jointly developing the household-use battery able to store the power generated by solar electricity generation system. According to the plan,they intend to start mass-producing lithium ion-typed specific batteries in fiscal 2009.This will lead to the expansion of solar power generation and the reduction of carbon dioxide emission in the household.The deal this time is the affiliation of the companies from different business sectors,among Sharp,a world major company as solar power generation equipment maker, Daiwa House,a domestic top house maker,and other,aiming at the energy-usage change in the household for the purpose of serving as a measure against global warming.

It has been learned that China's annual exports increased five times in the six years since it had become a member of the World Trade Organization(WTO) in December,2001. According to the data of WTO,the coutry's 2007 exports through the customs marked the value of $1.218 billion (about 130 trillion yen),with service-related exports excluded,up 25.7% from the previous year,surpassing the United States,and ranking in the second place after the front-runner Germany.The rise of economically emerging countries,such as Russia and other BRICs' coutries,
is ceratin to bolster the world trade expansion from now on also.
