損保会社の３・４位が 合併へ 三井住友 と あいおい ２７年４月をめどに それで国内トップになる
A major Japanese nonlife insurance group MS&AD Holdings announced on February 28 that Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, both of which are under its wing, will get into the talks for getting merged in April 2027. It is aimed at improving their business management efficiency in the background that domestic market has been declining because of depopulation. If this deal is realized, the new-born insurance company would be Japan's biggest one in the nonlife insurance field.
