You should ponder over what you did today was success or failure. The day should not have been peaceful and quiet at all.

リーダーの使命
Missions of leaders:

指導的立場にあるリーダーと呼ばれる人々は、自らの言動が人間として恥ずべきところが少しでもないか、常に厳しく自問していくべきではないでしょうか。あらゆる分野でリーダーーと呼ばれる人々を先頭に、一人ひとりが人間として正しいことを追求するようになってはじめて、社会全体のモラルが向上し、健全な社会が築かれていくのだと思います。
The persons who are called leaders playing a leading role in each area should always ask themselves in a severe way whether there is anything shameful in their own behaviors or not. Only when each of us gets to seek the right thing as a human with the guy called a leader in each area at the front, morality in the whole society will improve, and a healthy community will be established.
That is my candid opinion.

打つべきときは打つ、いたわるべきときはいたわる。寛厳よろしく導いていくところに、人間は人間として健全に成長する。
（人を育てる）
You should scold your disciples when you should do, and console them when you should do. When you instruct your disciples in a good way, that is, kindly at a time and strictly at another time, they could grow as a good-balanced human.
