成功を持続させる秘訣
A key to continued success

大成功を収め、人々の羨望を集めていた人が、いつのまにか没落を遂げていくーーー。
There is sometimes a man who makes a big success and draws a lot of attention, but at last gets ruined in some time.
謙虚さを失い、ただ「自分だけよければいい」というような利己的な思いを抱き、自分勝手に行動するなら、すべてを生成発展させようとする宇宙の意思に逆行し、一度成功したとしても、それが長続きしないのです。
If you behave as you like, without modesty and with a selfish mind like " It's OK if only you are good." you are surely against the will of universe which gets all the things to develop and prosper. It means you cannot keep your success long even if you make success once.
そうであるなら、私たちは心の中に頭をもたげる利己的な思いをできる限り抑えるように努め、他に善かれと願う「利他」の思いが少しでも多く湧き出るようにしていかなければなりません。
Such is the case, then we should try to suppress a selfish thought arising in our mind as much as possible, and get your mental conditions arranged for "altruism" ,or thoughts of loving others, gushing up in your mind a lot.

十年も続けて順調に伸びている会社があるとしたら、かえって危険だ。どこかに必ずゆるみがでてくる。（順境）（松下幸之助の言葉から）
If there is a company which has advanced well in its business for a long time , for example, for a decade, there must be some danger on the contrary. (favorable circumstances)

利害得失にとらわれすぎると、自分の歩む道を誤ることになりかねない。（とらわれ）（松下幸之助の言葉から）
If you are too much swayed by gains and losses, you might lose your way. (being swayed )
