なかなか形の良い花。Hesperantha cucullataです。
かなり形が気に入っています。花びらの裏側がピンクで表が白と言うのも良いですね
この花は、WiKiによると、「午後遅くとか夕方に開いて、夜中良い香りがする」そうです。（原文は文末に）
残念ながら、夜の香りはかいだ事が無いですし、ヒヤシンスの中にあるので、昼間はヒヤシンスの香りに負けているような気がします。
この花に似たイキシアも、やはり温度よりも明るさとかで花が開くとか。どこかに書いて有りました。
陽射しの中の花
白い花は、難しいねぇ。と思いながら。
ちょっととび気味のようにも思えますが、このくらいが良いところかな。と、勝手に思っています。
下の写真は、先週透かして撮ったら良かったかな～。と反省したので、陽射しがあるうちに撮影してみました。何となく、透けているような、透けていないところもあるような。なんて感じになってしまいましたが。どうでしょう？
これはあまりに飛ばしすぎ？普通の順光での撮影です。
Hesperantha cucullata is found on sandy and shale slopes in the western Karoo and the northwest Cape from the Bokkeveld Plateau to the Biedouw valley. It has three to eight white flowers on a spike and flowers open in late afternoon or evening and are often fragrant during the night. The outer tepals have a brown or red reverse so during the day you just may see the bright colored buds, but if out exploring later in the day the flowers will have opened.
